Dr Adil Sheraz is a Consultant Dermatologist who has a broad clinical interest encompassing skin cancer and skin surgery, psoriasis, acne, allergy, and general adult dermatology.

Dr Adil Sheraz is a highly regarded Consultant Dermatologist.  In addition to his private practice, he also works at the Royal Free NHS Foundation Trust. He graduated from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2005, where he also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Therapeutics. He completed his general medical training across several leading London hospitals and was awarded Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in 2010.

Dr Sheraz undertook his specialist dermatology training within the Kent, Surrey and Sussex deanery. During this time, he gained extensive experience at renowned centres including King’s College Hospital and St John’s Institute of Dermatology at St Thomas’ Hospital, London. Following successful completion of his Specialty Certificate Examination in Dermatology, he was appointed as a Consultant Dermatologist in Kent before assuming his current position at the Royal Free NHS Foundation Trust.

He is listed on the GMC Specialist Register for Dermatology and has a broad clinical interest encompassing skin cancer and skin surgery, psoriasis, acne, allergy, and general adult dermatology. Dr Sheraz is highly experienced in procedures such as skin lesion excision, cryotherapy, dermoscopy, and mole removal, as well as in the management of conditions including eczema, rosacea, warts, and skin tags.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Sheraz is actively involved in medical education. He regularly teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate students and has served as an examiner in dermatology at King’s College Hospital.

Dr Sheraz has an established academic profile, with publications in peer-reviewed medical journals and presentations at major national and international conferences, including those organised by the British Association of Dermatologists and the American Academy of Dermatology.

He is also well known for his media work, having appeared as a dermatology expert on television programmes such as Dr Christian Will See You Now, Dr Christian: Special Clinics, and the popular series Skin A&E. He has contributed to BBC News programmes, offering expert commentary on issues such as the risks associated with counterfeit cosmetics.

As a spokesperson for the British Skin Foundation, Dr Sheraz provides expert advice on a wide range of dermatological topics, further reflecting his commitment to public education and patient care.
