Chin fat plays an important role in the appearance of a youthful looking neck, but it is also prone to a condition which in medical terms is known as ‘sub-mental fullness’. The sub-mental area is the triangular shaped area directly under the chin, and to a layperson, sub-mental fullness is the same thing as a double chin.
