New Consultation Deposits – A deposit of £200 is required when booking an appointment to see a Dermatologist for a consultation. This deposit must be paid at the time of booking the appointment. The deposit amount will be applied toward the cost of your consultation or any treatment on the day. If you fail to attend your appointment, or do not contact us to reschedule or cancel in accordance with the timeframes explained in this policy, then the £200 deposit will be forfeited. We reserve the right to request any patient who has previously failed to attend for an appointment, to pre-pay in full for any further appointment they wish to book.
Deposits for Procedures – When booking a procedure, we require pre-payment of 50% of the total cost of the procedure and this must be paid at the time of booking. The remaining 50% will be payable on the day of your procedure. If you fail to attend your appointment, or do not contact us to reschedule in accordance with this policy, then the pre-paid deposit will be forfeited. This also applies to appointments forming part of a treatment plan (also sometimes referred to as a course or package of treatments) and failure to reschedule in accordance with this policy will result in the loss of the individual appointment in question.
Rescheduling or Cancelling Appointments – Except for appointments with Dr Haus, you may reschedule or cancel your appointment up to 3 working days prior to the appointment. If less than 3 working days’ notice is provided, you will unfortunately forfeit any pre-paid deposit and no requests for refund will be considered. For appointments with Dr Haus, you can only reschedule or cancel your appointment up to 5 working days before the appointment. If less than 5 working days’ notice is provided before your appointment to see Dr Haus, then unfortunately you will forfeit any pre-paid deposit and no requests for refund will be considered. For the purpose of calculating the number of days, the day of the appointment itself does not count.
If You Are Running Late – While we will always try to see a patient who is genuinely running late, if you arrive more than 10 minutes late you may be asked to rebook for another date. Out of consideration to other patients who are booked in the diary after you, the duration of your consultation or appointment may be shortened, if you have arrived late.
Courses or Packages of Treatment – All courses or packages of treatment must be paid in full at the time of booking. All appointments included as part of a course or package, must be completed no later than 6 months after the date of the first appointment.
Once a course of treatment has been commenced, then for best results, it is recommended that the entire course be completed. If for any reason it is not possible for the course to be completed, then requests for a refund of the unused treatments must be requested in writing by email sent to reception@drhausdermatology.com. Refunds will only be given in respect of treatments included in the plan that have been paid for, but not received. If any treatment plans include a complimentary treatment(s) then these will be disregarded for the purpose of calculating the number of paid for treatments. Under no circumstances will we make any refund in respect of treatments that have already occurred.
Payments – Our clinic does not provide credit facilities and all invoice balances must be settled in full on the day of your consultation or treatment.
Requests for Refunds – All requests for refunds must be put in writing and addressed to reception@drhausdermatology.com. An administrative charge of £50 will be applied to any refunds that are processed. No refunds will be issued in respect of any consultation or treatment that has already been provided or for any retail skincare products that have been opened.
