During the coronavirus outbreak in the United Kingdom, Dr Haus Dermatology is offering consultations remotely for existing patients of our clinic and to new patients with an urgent skin concern.
When you contact us, whether by email, through our website contact form or by telephone, we will ask you questions about your skin concern to better understand it. Depending on the nature of your concern, we may then recommend a remote consultation by telephone or video with one of our Dermatologists. This will be arranged with you subject to the availability of yourself and the Dermatologist, just like a face to face appointment would be arranged and a consultation fee will apply. The telephone or video consultation will be carried out using secure technology and your privacy will be protected throughout.
If in the opinion of the Dermatologist they consider that a face to face consultation at our clinic is necessary then this will be discussed with you. However for your safety only a small number of face to face consultations can be offered each week.
If you are intending to pay for your consultation and any medication with private insurance, then we strongly advise you to check first that your insurance will cover a remote consultation. We cannot be held responsible if your insurer declines to cover the cost of a remote consultation. We can provide you with further information about other forms of payment when you contact us.
