Dr Thomson is a Consultant Dermatologist who specialises in diagnosing and managing skin cancer, including melanoma, squamous cell carcinoma and basal cell carcinoma. Dr Thomson also treats a broad range of skin conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea and other hyperpigmentation disorders. Additionally, Dr Thomson offers aesthetic skin injections with a focus on natural, subtle results.

Dr Jason Thomson

Dr Jason Thomson is a Consultant Dermatologist with extensive expertise across medical, surgical, and aesthetic, or cosmetic dermatology. He specialises in diagnosing and managing skin cancer, including melanoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and basal cell carcinoma, and treats a broad range of skin conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea and other hyperpigmentation disorders. Dr Thomson also offers injectable aesthetic treatments with a focus on natural, subtle results. 

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Thomson is experienced in cosmetic science, and specifically in skincare product formulation and personalised skincare routines.  He has led the development of award-winning prescription skincare products, combining dermatological science with cosmetic innovation.

Dr Thomson studied medicine at the University of Cambridge and King’s College London, before completing dermatology specialist training at the Royal London and Royal Free Hospitals. He was selected for the highly competitive UK Academic Dermatology Training Programme and holds a Master’s in Genomic Medicine from Queen Mary University of London. He has recently submitted his PhD, which focuses on the genomics and tumour biology of skin cancer. His research has been widely published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national and international conferences.

A passionate educator and media contributor, Dr Thomson regularly lectures at conferences, has appeared on national television discussing skin cancer and skincare.

Dr Thomson is a member of the Society of Cosmetic Scientists (SCS), British Association of Dermatologists (BAD), European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV), British Cosmetic Dermatology Group (BCDG), and the British Society for Dermatological Surgery (BSDS).
