Victoria is an experienced Nurse who is also qualified as an Independent Nurse Prescriber. Prior to joining Dr Haus Dermatology and starting her career in Dermatology, Victoria worked in intensive care looking after trauma patients with multiple burns at hospitals in London and Oslo, Norway. Having now established herself as an integral member of the team at our clinic, Victoria has completed further studies at the St John's Derm Academy, which is part of the prestigious St John's Institute of Dermatology, London.
Victoria is an experienced Nurse who is also qualified as an Independent Nurse Prescriber and boasts a CV that includes vast experience working in Intensive Care at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London as well as Oslo University Hospital in Norway.
During her time working in Intensive Care, Victoria was responsible for the care of multiple burns’ trauma patients. This experience of patient centred care, helped her to fully understand the relationship between self esteem and self perception of appearance. A year spent in Mexico City gaining invaluable insights into the field of Dermatology and Aesthetics, drove Victoria to work in this field when she returned to the U.K. Victoria has subsequently completed further studies at the St John’s Derm Academy, part of the prestigious St John’s Institute of Dermatology, London.
Victoria’s passion of caring for others is of great support to our patients on their individual journey to achieving healthy skin.
With Victoria’s extensive nursing experience, she is a vital support for our Dermatologists when they are performing complicated medical procedures. Victoria is also trained to administer a range of non-surgical aesthetic skin treatments herself, including laser skin treatments.
As an Independent Nurse Prescriber, Victoria can conduct consultations and prescribe anti-wrinkle injections containing Botulinum Toxin for anyone who is worried about the appearance of fine lines or wrinkles.
Bilingual in English and Norwegian, when Victoria is not at work, you will find her fulfilling her avid love for travelling and playing sports.
