Our Dermatologists can see children aged 13 years and above and can diagnose and treat the skin issues that commonly occur in teenagers.
Skin conditions affecting young people, especially anyone who is also going through puberty, can be a cause of significant emotional distress. We are experienced at treating younger patients and ensure that they are taken care of with kindness and respect.
We regularly see patients for teenage spot treatment or acne caused by hormones. All of the Dermatologists at our clinic also hold clinical positions within the NHS, and they are up to date with the best acne treatment for teens.
We are also able to diagnose and treat other dermatological conditions in teenagers such as acne scars, eczema, warts and verrucas.
Parental or guardian consent will be required prior to the treatment of any child, and some treatments are not available to anyone under the age of 18 years.
Appointments with a Dermatologist are available from Monday to Friday until late, and occasionally on Saturdays.
