At Dr Haus Dermatology we offer state-of-the-art laser skin resurfacing treatments to get back your skin’s natural glow.
As the name suggests skin resurfacing can improve skin texture and tone. We use it to close skin pores or erase fine lines and wrinkles. Skin blemishes or uneven pigmentation can also be evened out with skin resurfacing. Finally it can be used to remove scars, such as from acne or an injury.
Therefore if you are looking to achieve a clearer and more radiant complexion, our dermatologists are here to help.
As one of the country’s leading dermatology clinics we are proud to offer an unparalleled range of laser technology platforms. Combined with our expertise in dermatology, this enables us to prepare bespoke treatment plans for every patient.
Laser skin resurfacing uses a concentrated beam of light to remove a superficial layer of skin cells. This process then stimulates the growth of new, healthy cells, to give smooth and radiant skin.
Many laser technologies can be used for skin resurfacing, but ablative lasers such as CO2 lasers, are a popular choice for many dermatologists. They work by removing tiny particles of the skin’s outer layer. In turn, this leads to a controlled healing reaction to reveal new skin beneath. As well as CO2 lasers, we use Fraxel lasers for skin resurfacing.
Laser skin resurfacing is a popular choice for people seeking to improve the appearance of their skin. Some concerns that lead people to consider skin resurfacing include:
Before undergoing laser skin resurfacing, you will have a face to face consultation with one of our experienced team members. During this consultation, we will assess your skin, discuss your specific concerns, and prepare a bespoke treatment plan.
We carry out laser skin treatments at our state-of-the-art Harley Street clinic. The treatment typically takes between 30 minutes to one hour, depending on the area of concern. Numbing cream will be applied to ensure your comfort during the procedure.
After the treatment, you may experience some redness or tightening, similar to mild sunburn. These side effects are temporary and usually disappear within a couple of days.
Some of the hallmarks of our clinic are our experience and the bespoke nature of the treatments that we can offer.
We have been using lasers to help our patients with their skin since we first opened our clinic on Harley Street in 2010. Our founder Dr Haus is a key opinion leader (KOL) for Lynton Lasers, the largest manufacturer in the UK. Our experience has taught us that your treatment needs to be both effective and safe.
In addition to our reputation for high quality care, we pride ourselves on offering cutting-edge treatments. By constantly investing in technology, our patients benefit from the latest scientific developments. With such a large number of laser platforms now at our disposal, we can recommend the laser, or if necessary, a combination of different lasers, that will give you the best results.
Finally, our experience has also taught us the importance of helping our patients with the ‘at-home aftercare’ following their treatment. After your treatment you will leave our clinic with dermatologist grade aftercare products and instructions on how to use them. This helps to ensure optimal healing and that you get the best results from your treatment.
